LEVELING PROGRESSION

Depending on if you’re playing Hardcore or Softcore, you will have to adjust your route depending on the quality of gear you’re able to obtain. For example, if you have lots of Life and Resistance from drops you get during the Acts, you can focus on taking damage-providing nodes over the defensive ones and vice versa. The links below are trees that should fit in almost any situation no matter the drop RNG.

MASTERIES

A lot of the masteries available come down to a matter of personal preference but some are more or less mandatory.

Life Mastery: “+50 to maximum life.” The strongest life mastery notable and should be picked up as soon as possible.
Chaos Mastery: “20% increased effect of Withered” This node is crazy good for damage scaling.
Chaos Mastery: “+1% to chaos damage over time multiplier per 4 chaos resistance.” An easy way for us to scale more DoT Multi as we are already going for max chaos resistance cap for this build.
Life Mastery: “10% increased maxim://poeurl.com/drDBum life & 10% reduced life recovery rate.” Simple yet effective life scaling modifier.
Evasion Mastery: “Grace has 25% increased mana reservation efficiency.” This helps us enable all auras we need to run for the build.
Reservation Mastery: “Auras from your skills have 10% increased effect on you.” A self-explanatory modifier giving us stronger auras.

AMULET ANOINTMENT

In my opinion, there’s only 1 Notable worth anointing for this build and that is Hunter’s Gambit, which requires 1x Silver Oils, 1x Clear Oil & 1x Verdant Oil. I really don’t see any reason to bother using Oils for any other node, and I would put this anointment on an amulet I know I won’t be changing for some time.

This is mainly used to help boost our single-target damage output:

Caustic Arrow (Make sure this is the VAAL version as it will significantly increase your single-target damage output)
